Saturday October 8 – Saturday, October 15, 2022

Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Boyne Mountain Resort, Leelanau Penninsula

THE EXPERIENCE

Experience the beauty of Northern Michigan in the Fall during peak color season. The trees look like candy colors and each corner you turn, there is another breath taking view.

Fly into Pelston, MI airport (I can book your flights). We’ll spend the first night in Pelston, then in the morning take the ferry to the world famous Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island – the site where the movie “Somewhere in Time” was filmed. Enjoy the island of no cars and ride bikes or by horse and buggy.

Next we travel to the beautiful Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Falls, MI. They have the most beautiful views, especially from the ski lift. Drive the famous “Tunnel of Trees” which is a site to see in the Fall. Lunch at the Legs Inn, named the 2nd most iconic restaurant in Michigan. On the way back we will stop in the beautiful town of Harbor Springs, then Pond Hill Farm for some cider and donuts.

On Wednesday we will visit the most beautiful viewpoint in all of Northern Michigan, Deadman’s Hill, followed by spending the day in Charlevoix the Beautiful.

On Thursday and Friday we are off to the amazing Leelanau peninsula driving M-22, voted America’s Best Scenic Autumn Drive. We will visit Fish Town and Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes.
