Although this is not an official Boomer Women group trip, Sue will be on board learning about the ship and ports with the staff, and she will also be available to help you with your needs. If you are coming alone or with a friend and would like to be with others who register with us, we will introduce you and we can help you find a roommate so you are not alone, unless you choose to be. Let us book your flights, pre and/or post hotel stays and travel insurance.

THE SHIP: With a maximum of 227 guests in luxurious style, the 439-foot Royal Clipper has 19,000 square feet of open deck, 54,000 square feet of billowing sails (a total of 42 sails) with 3 swimming pools. The Guinness Book of World Records lists Royal Clipper as the largest square-rigged ship in service, 

ONBOARD ADVENTURES: Muster up your sense of adventure and climb the mast to the “Crow’s Nest” (almost 100 feet in the air, with safety harness and instruction provided) for spectacular panoramic views. Or relax in the bowsprit at the front of the ship, suspended over the ocean, with dolphins swimming below you in the Caribbean. Join a team of guests and use your strength to assist in pulling up a sail. Knot tying and navigation classes that have evolved from Star Clippers’ sailing tradition, are also yours for the taking. A spa and health club with underwater glass portholes, is the ideal place to get pampered.

 SOFT ENTERTAINMENT: In various destinations that we visit, we invite local performers onboard to entertain our guests with an authentic taste of their music and arts. In addition, we have a piano on every ship and a very talented entertainer who can play your favorite tunes or spin the latest musical hits.

THE FOOD: Full breakfast with fresh tropical fruits, grilled meats and eggs cooked to perfection. Lunch and afternoon snacks are available in the dining room, or maybe a festive barbecue on shore. Dinner is a feast to behold, designed to indulge your senses. Open seating dining is available on all of our ships, allowing you to dine at the time that suits you best. No formal attire or ties required!

 THE PRICE 

• Interior or Ocean View Cabins are available. The Price, per person, based on double occupancy is between $1,693 - $2,270

• $150 per cabin onboard credit
• Pre-paid gratuities

• Transfers to and from Airport
• kayaks, paddle boards and dinghies as well as water skiing and windsurfing and snorkeling equipment

Payment: A $400 deposit per person is required to reserve. The balance is due September 1, 2022. 

REQUIREMENTS: Both Covid vaccines are required and if it has been more than 9 months since your 2nd vaccine or booster, you will need to get another booster.  You are also required to get a Covid test 24 hours prior to boarding, which can be done on your own or before you board the ship.
