A Dog's Purpose  by W. Bruce Cameron is one of the best, most heartwarming books I've ever read.  It's written from one dog's perspective - you'll laugh, you'll cry and it's a very quick read.  Click on the title of the book to get to the full description and order from the link.  

This book is climbing the best seller list fast and is soon to be a major motion picture.  It is by the author who also wrote "8 Rules for Dating My Teenaged Daughter" which was turned into a TV show starting John Ritter.
