Music at 8pm by THE SUGAR THIEVES
Dubbed the "Meat Shakin' Blues Band," The Sugar Thieves are a perfect mix of American music, with sounds of New Orleans, Memphis, Chicago and Mississippi. They fuse blues, roots, folk, gospel and a little jazz, to make up one big bowl of sugar. The concert opens with the duo of Mikel Lander and Meridith Moore on guitar and vocals, followed by the full band.
THIS IS NOT FREE - Concert tickets are available for $10 through www.ScottsdalePerformingArts.org or 480-499-TKTS (8587).
Seating is general admission. PLEASE PURCHASE YOUR OWN TICKET IN ADVANCE.
I will be there at 6pm. Look for me in my tiara!
